ROSE' WINES

This wine is made from young Cabernet grapes grown along the avenue of oleanders on the Sella&Mosca estate, on sandy-clay soil with alluvial trachyte pebbles. The nose has fruity top notes, followed by the more austere varietal sensations typical of Cabernet. The freshness of the palate is underscored by a slight raciness and accompanied by elegant structure with clear varietal notes. It goes very well with Mediterranean starters and lean, simply cooked meats.

Made from Sangiovese and indigenous vine grapes . Its nose combines the delicate, fragrant, elegant typical floral notes of Sangiovese and the light vinous sensations of the indigenous. On the palate it is dry, fresh and well balanced, with attractive hints of red fruit, cherries and ripe damsons, making it highly drinkable. It is excellent with aperitifs, fish soups and white meats.

This is a typical Cannonau di Sardegna: a red wine from the island of Sardinia. Cannonau is the local name for the Grenache – one of Sardinia's most successful wine grapes. It has long been thought that the variety arrived on Sardinia with the Aragonese when they conquered the island in the early 14th Century. However, in the past few years, Italian researchers have uncovered evidence suggesting that Cannonau (and therefore Grenache) may well have originated right in Sardinia Island.
